With over seven years of experience in the senior living industry, including five years as a Sales Director and two years as an Executive Director, Jennifer Burkhart brings both compassion and leadership to her role.
Jennifer began her career in the senior living industry after witnessing the isolation many seniors faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. That inspired her to make a positive impact by fostering connection and community.
Originally from New Mexico, Jennifer misses the food and culture of the southwest. "I love authentic Mexican food and everything about Mexican culture!”

Joni Smith joined Traditions of Hilliard with over 15 years of nursing experience. She is passionate about the senior population, particularly those with cognitive deficits, and how best to add to their quality of life, keeping it purpose-filled and engaging.
In her spare time, Joni enjoys gardening and watching soccer. Her favorite teams are Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Joni is excited to be at Traditions of Hilliard, a senior living community where heart, tradition, and innovative experiences come together.
